Senior Estimator

Summary:

Highly skilled, caring, and safety focused individual with Construction Management and Design Build experience. Reports to the Director of Pre-Construction & Estimating. Responsible for calculating construction cost estimates, planning, developing, negotiating, and contract execution for a project.

Responsibilities:

• Study plans and specifications clarifying location and document discrepancies.
• Complete pre-bid form, set up summary sheets and submit forms for bonding and insurance.
• Prepare sub-trade request list for estimating assistant and complete budget estimates.
• Solicit bidders, prepare sub-trade requests, and note special trades needed.
• List special materials, call for prices, work on RFI’s internally and from sub trades.
• Take off and extend all trades. Read and understand soils and designated substance reports.
• Attends site visits take pictures, notes, recap, price, and extend quantity take off.
• Cut & fill take off, excavation backfill, site servicing, formwork, and concrete priced quantities.
• Build a preliminary tender schedule for major and long delivery dates.
• Preparation of the closing sheet, identify risk, or opportunity avenues.

About the Role:

A senior .Net Developer for SBSD will be responsible for design and development of business components and services according to business requirements and technical specifications. Construction Manager

Summary:

The Construction Manager reports to the Vice President – Operations, and will be responsible for planning and managing the stages of the construction project. The Construction Manager will oversee work schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure the projects are safely completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate constructions projects from start to finish.
• Manage the project logistical requirements according to schedule, specifications and budget.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owners, clients, consultants, and trades.
• Manage the project management team to get construction progress, financials, and admin.

Scheduler – Construction:

About the Role:

Scheduler – ICI for an industry leading Canadian client. This is a full time, permanent, in-office position. The base salary range is 90-110k plus profit sharing, employee shares, benefits, vacation and RRSP matching. The working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Civil/Construction/Architectural) or Diploma or Equivalency – combination of technical training and/or related experience.

• Advanced Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required.

Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager/ Construction Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator assists and supports the Project Manager(s) on various projects and will be responsible for all coordinating duties and assist with the project administrative processes.

Automation Electric Engineer

The ideal candidate:

• Design, build, commission, and testing automation equipment (assembly lines, robotic cells)
• Collaborate with Cross functional team such as Sales/Operation / Quality /Maintenance & IT along with outside Supplier in automating various initial conceptual design phase of engineering projects, manufacturing process, and also building in-process quality to assure high performance Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)

• Familiarity with industry policies and procedures to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
• Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and fast-changing workload
• C++ and Linux is a plus

Junior Process Engineer

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our internal clients and have an in-depth knowledge of the cosmetic market. The Jnr. Process Engineer will be involved in process equipment design, operation, write and ensure compliance of manufacturing design equipment to agreed standard operating procedures. This candidate will work hands-on with our Cosmetics machines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform concept tests to approve the feasibility of processes by designing sample production and conducting line trail test
• Evaluate machinery and processes by collecting data and/or samples to identify, improve and generate appropriate processes and product/process specifications
• Research and assist with purchase of new technology and implement new machine specifications to fit production requirements
• Responsible for drafting SOP documentation ensuring machinery compatibility for both Production and Maintenance Department
• Establishing strong working relationships with equipment manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent field
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is an asset
• Experience in the use of design of experiment techniques to solve manufacturing issues
